Hi, My name is Whis-Purr, and I am 5 months old. My previous people went away on vacation and left me home, with a sitter coming in every day to see to my needs. One day, after she left I got my leg caught in a dining room chair, and I was left dangling by my hind leg from the chair. No body knows how long I dangled there, but it was a very long time. I tried to get myself loose, but the pain was just aweful, and pretty soon I was so exhausted I just gave up and stopp4ed trying. The next day when the lady came in to take care of me, she found me dangling. She said I wasn`t even moving or anything, then. She got me loose and took me to the vet. My humans decided that they didn`t want me any more, and they wanted the vet to send me to a bridge with a rainbow. The vet was not happy with me going there, so she had the people sign me over to her. They tried to save my leg, but it was too badly twisted and damaged in every way. They amputated it on Dec. 22. My moms were looking for a special needs cat, and they thought I was just Purr-fect. I came to my new home 2 days ago, January 14. I have a lot of brothers and sisters that I have to get used to, but I am already letting them all know just WHO is in charge!
