my dog pippi was diagnosed with AIHA about five days ago, i am currently away at school and my parents did everything they could but sadly she didn't make it, and she passed away last night. I'm incredibley heart broken, she was only 8 years old and i loved her so much, and the worst part is i wasn't there to be with her when she was sick.

I am so sorry to hear about Pippi. This is a horrific disease that takes our dear ones so fast. Miracle was diagnosed with this disease on August 13th and left us on August 19th. At the time I was totally lost and one big mess because I did not understand this disease.

Big hugs to you...please know your baby is watching over you now and will be waiting for you to join her one day.

Tons of hugs!! It's a hard thing to fight and depending on the cause, sometimes there just isn't anything that can be done. When Cherry had IMHA, our son was at college and he was torn between trying to get home or going to his classes. It was hard for him not to be here through that.

Just know the times you shared were precious and allow those memories to heal the pain in your heart.
