let's go to- Grandma's &- wanna go 4a ride

Sassy is almost 1yr and she is very smart but she is soooo independant and has a mind of her own she knows the word come but but she stands there looking at me like yeah I'll get there when I want, then she thinks its a game HELP how do I get her to understand and get her to come when I call her Thanks shrug

Buddy was the same and reverts from time to time. I carry a pocket of kibble and call him over to me for no apparent reason, then give him kibble. Repeat this every several days, then less often, but still occasionally. You want your dog to come to you with the hope of some reward. After a while alternate food reward with petting/scratching reward. Hope this helps.
