I have a 5 1/2 mo. old puff. I am a groomer. Naturally I see a hairy ear I want to strip hair. Things have changed though & I hear that you shouldn't strip some dog's ears because dirt can get in pores & cause infection....& so on. Do I strip my puff's ears? They WERE pretty thick, bit I don't want to give her an infection.thinking

I say pluck but keep clean the ears at LEAST once per month. Puffy got an ear infection and I didn't pluck...but now I do!

BTW, I'm not a professional groomer but I groom my own a lot...I wish I could take a class or something to be better at it thinking
