What clippers to use?

I have a new mini and his hair is totally different from Zoe's and I groom! I have bought 4 new whal clippers from wal-mart for just him and they no longer work after one hair cut.......so anyone know of a set of clippers for a soft curly with a strain of course hair in between that will cut this type of hair.

When I give Chewy trims in between groomer visits I use clippers that are made for humans. In my experience they work better on Chewy's hair than ones made for dogs and are less expensive!
