We just wanted to let everyone know we have had two deaths in the family. Eighteen days apart.

Ginger of 12 yrs departed December 12th, 2008/ She was ready to go. Mom knew it was close in time and was waiting for her to let her know it was time.

Cephus of 7 yrs also left us on December 30th, 2008. He had chronic hip and back problems. Mom was waiting to speak with another Doctor about the hip situation, he'd had hip surgery at a young age and developed severe arthritis in both hips again. She was debating putting him through this surgery yet again at his age, and looking at a long recovery time again, when one morning he couldn't walk, stand or nothing.
It was discovered he had two slipped disc's in which was putting a lot of pressure on his spinal cord.

The surgery for that isn't a hundred percent he'd recover or able to walk again. So, he made the decission for momma. He was in a lot of pain, tired and ready to cross over to the rainbow bridge. So, mom gave him back to his creator.

It was a hard day for mom and all of us. Her heart is still shattered and she misses her "Dobby Dog kisses"

Both he and Ginger will be watching over all of you from afar.
