My B&T, Cecil is SO MUCH MORE mellow, laid back and generally a lovable moose compared to my female tricolor, Cali. This has been true since he came to me at 8 weeks, both before and after neutering.

Has anyone else experienced this personality difference between male and female Cavaliers?

I think it is a matter of degrees. We just have a male tri but friends of ours has Nibbles sister and a male tri. She rules the boys with an iron paw. The boys seem more loving and laid back to me. They are all very loving to people.
