My name is Amber. My bestest friend, B'Elanna, went to the Bridge in February, so I am the only dog in the house now. The rest of my dog family had gone to the Bridge before I came on the scene. I have two cat friends, Apollo and Athena, but kitty, Aragorn, went to the Bridge a long time ago. Apollo is my buddy and we play every morning with me running around the dining room table and Apollo pawing at me as I race by. I also like to poke Apollo with my long nose and tickle him. | | | | |

Sometimes I just want to sniff her ears and she slaps me!
When I first came here, I was sort of shocked for three days. Then all of a sudden I realized....THERE IS A CAT IN THE HOUSE!!!!
So I  and at the  and she got scared of me.
Then one day, she turned around and
Ouch! I was scared but mom said it was good for me to get my face slapped so that I would learn my boundaries.
What are boundaries? I don't think I have any
Will it ever get better? Will one day mom come home and find me and Patches  ???

Also he is very jealous! 
I can't cuddle my mommy like I used to do when JR was alive.

| | Barked: Sat Jan 3, '09 1:49pm PST | | | | | |  Sorry it has taken us so long to post here in the group. With the holidays over, mommy should have more time for us to be on Dogster & Catster.
I'm the only in a house of Snickers, Iggy, & Sassy. Snickers is the oldest, 13, & the hardest one for me to get along with. He has disliked me since day 1! The only time he comes close to me without growling or hissing is when food is involved! He's such a little piggy (like me) that he'll do anything for food. Iggy & I have gotten along since the day I blitzed into the house. We played the strangest game - I'd grab his head in my mouth & drag him across the floor. Mommy was totally upset over this until she realized that Iggy loved it & wanted me to do it. We don't do that game anymore, but we still lay together in bed or on a chair or the back of the couch. I actually just sit down on top of him alot if he is in my way. Sassy is still just a kitten (she'll be 2 in March) & she's grown up with me so she is fine with doggies (most of them). She can be a little stinker at times though...she'll be on a chair & if I walk by, she reaches out & grabs me, or she'll reach over & bite me for no reason. She likes to cuddle when it's really cold outside. Every once in a while I'll put the chase on one of the kitties, usually Iggy or Sassy. I'll get told "bad boy" if I chase the "old man". They're always running around the house after each other, but I don't see what the big attraction is.
It's great to be here. We've got some furiends to invite.

I don't always get along with Patches. Sometimes we sniff each other and sometimes I want to chase her. I make her hit me in the face with her paw! That's what mom says anyway. She always yells....DONT HURT PATCHES! She freaks out! What about me? I get slapped!
I'm glad that you told your story Max cos I was afraid that I was the only one who has kitty trouble.
