I have been wanting to upgrade my sweet little mac to Leopard, but cannot. The one that I have is the one with the bubble base, and movable arm, holding the monitor. This system has never been capable of loading leopard. I bought the program, and now am stuck with it, cuz i can't use it!

I have been tossing around the idea of getting a new iMac, or a MacBook. Do you have a desktop or a lap top? If you have the lap top, how do you like it?

Just wondering!

What are you going to do with it the most?
If your going to "LOTS" ( I Mean lots) of intense cpu get the new imac.
If your going to do a medium cpu work then get the mac mini.
If you want to go portable and going to use medium cpu the MacBook is the way to go.
What a little more graphics power go with the 15 inch. MacBook Pro but all your really paying for is more graphics power.

My Recommendation is the MacBook! It's a really good computer! Make sure to upgrade the specs and get a warranty online. P.S. There is no firewire 400 or 800 on the macbook. Macbook Pro has only firewire 800.

I have been looking at the MacBook. Where I live, we don't have an Apple store, so I do all my looking online! I would love to just see one in person first. And, mostly, what I would want it for is the portability of it. Being able to take it all over the house, via airport, on trips. But, mostly, just to do web stuff. I have creative suites, and regular photoshop, and like to work on pictures, but don't need anything fancy! Mac Pro, might just be too much for me!

Thanks for all the suggestions, tho!

Have you gotten into doing group pages, here? I have been learning, and there is so much I don't know, mostly because I don't have the codes! I love doing it!

The new aluminum one. I like that one! I have to put in a call to Apple to check on a few things before I buy, but . . .

It is the 13 in. screen!

What do you have?

the Wi-Fi. Is the card the one that they advertise with AT&T? Or does that only work if you subscribe to them?

The wifi card is in the computer it's standard. The at&t service is something different. The Base sation works pretty well. We have a hard time with it to connect to are nintendo wii (we still haven't got it to work.) frown
