Thank you Kodiak. hug We did a great job today as the ultrasound confirmed the pancreatitis. This is the best news we could have gotten today - no liver problems, no tumors! cheer Sophie just has to be on a bland, low fat diet for the foreseeable future. way to go

I am so relieved to know that Sophie is going to be okay. I had that pancreatitis once and it is very nasty. I was very ill for days.
I needed an iv and the doctors were very worried about me.
Yeah for Sophie.
She has so many quardian angels looking after her and wishing her well she had to get better.
Mom bought me no fat cheese or low fat cheese as a treat to wrap my meds in.
Is Sophie taking anything.
Sweets are bad for pancreatitis and so is the newly grown spring grass. This is what my vet told mom when I got ill.
We will be watching over her, don't worry.dogdog

wave Hi Elsa! Sophie had antibiotics for a while but she is done with those. Now she is on only her anti-nausea meds (Reglan). This is a precaution to keep her tummy settled. She is doing well and eating her food. The vet put her on R/D prescription food for the next few weeks. Her only 'treats' are that my Julie puts some chicken baby food in her Kong toy each day when she leaves for work. So far, so good. way to go She has to go back in a couple more weeks to get a follow up blood test.

Thank you all angels for helping my lil sis Tulah. She is doing well at home now.
I have a feeling knowing Miss Tulah that this will not be the last time we are needed to help her out.
Tulah had herself in a very serious situation but very luckily for her with excellent medical intervention and loads of prayers and well wishes and angels at the bridge she survived this horrible plant poisoning.
All beware of SAGO PALMS. Go to the ASPCA Poisoning Hotline info online for the info. It isn't pretty.
Tulah, STOP chewing things.

I know of a little critter who could use a little love and guidance. My brother's house burned down last week and his bearded dragon died. He was able to get out of his cage, but hid under the couch and the smoke took him. Could we send some blessings his way, even though he was not a fur baby, he was still my brother's beloved pet.frown
