Yes I did. Mommy came back from a walk with Tucker, Austin and Athens and daddy was outside with me and Braedey. He then told mommy that I had caught a chipmunk and it was still alive! So mommy ushered all 5 of us back inside so her and daddy could inspect the critter more closely. Turns out I ripped off the tail (skinned the furry part off), broke its lower back and back leg. eek After watching it try and move on the driveway mommy and daddy decided that it would be best to put it out of pain instead of release it and let it suffer. frown Mommy thought about bringing it to a animal sanctuary for wild animals but thought there was probably not a lot they could do for it. So of course mommy couldn't watch so she came inside and let dad to the deed. He buried the chipmunk (we'll name him Alvin) near some trees behind our house. little angel Mommy said she wasn't upset that I caught it just sad that it wasn't dead and still was feeling apparent pain. But daddy told me I was a good hunter. When he came in and told me that Braedey and I were wanting to go back outside to see the chipmunk. Daddy told us that he had gone to the hospital to get better. Oh well.

Kenzie, you did a good job of catching! We like to chase...but...we like to catch-um too!! You have to be stealthy to sneak up on a chipmunk!!
When I was about six months old, my kitty caught a chipmunk. He gave it to me, I was playing with it and my big sister, Shasta, tried to take it away from me. We got in an arguement (snarling and showing teeth), while we were fussing the chipmunk escaped into the woods! Momma said "Chipmunks-1 Dogs-0" naughty

Maddi-
Chipmunks are like squirrels but are brown instead of grey. They are less than half the size of a squirrel. Here is a picture. Chipmunk

I haven't seen one either. I know that I sure would like to catch one though. Mommy wouldn't like it but she'd get over it. BOLwave

That's easier said than done, JerryLee. But you know that's what makes moms so mushy-gushy about US too. cloud 9
