Hello,
I adopted Cana a 2-3 year old english setter. I am trying to get her more experience with other dogs. She is kind of shy around dogs her size or bigger. I would like her to get more experience and learn how to play!!

I live about 45 minutes away so probably too far. I don't know if it's just me but I found that when I wanted to socialize my puppy no other dog owners were willing to let their dogs play. When we went on walks I tried to engage in a conversation with other dog owners but they'd usually just grab there dog's leash and drag them away. I wish there were some other dog owners that I knew that would actually let there dog play and socialize! confused
