Hi all..
I have a few questions about this breed they are new to me as we have always had Labs .. great dogs>>. We are having some listening issues with Jake . He was 7 months old when we got him , & was never taught a thing. I have worked and worked with this dog everyday. He is doing alot better, he knows a lot of commands and does them with or without Treats. But the main issue I am having with him , is he is so hyper when we have company over , he will not limten to a thing that I say to him, he just does what he wants, and will finally go lay down , " after I have been telling hin that for an hour or more " when HE wants to . It is really frustrating . Now he doesnt jump up on or company or bark at them or anything like that , just bugs the crap out of them & me with his toys & stuff like that . It is very frustrating to me that he does this. Any suggestions at all would be great . I have tried several things and they just dont work.
