Hi guys. So my mom and dad brought home a new little brother for me a few weeks ago, and he is so...hyper! he never sits still and he's driving me CRAZY! I am getting up there in years, and just don't know what to do. Also, my mom has been spending a lot more time with him since he is so young and doesn't know anything...he can't even sit! Any advice you might have to help me cope with these difficult times would be greatly appreciated. confused

Hang in there, know it is hard. I just got a sassy little sister this past spring. She has grown on me, but it took awhile.

Mom always made sure to feed me first, and give me alittle extra snuggle time at night. Also because I am older i do not have to be in my crate during the day, but she still has to be. That helps gives me alone time I need to unwind.

We do agility, and mom makes sure to train us each alone as well. Yes it is really hard on mom , but important to help me adjust and know I am still top dog. Also with treats I get mine first, and I go through doors first etc... know mom tries to make me feel as if i am still number one.

We wrestle and she wins at times so mom puts us in time outs. Both of us can lay by each other and snuggle. Long story short, she has grown on me, and we are friends now, but took alot of work and time. still have our moments, but want siblings don't.
