I read a description that said they can be "boisterous" as puppies. That pretty much hits the nail on the head when it comes to Emery.

What was your Shiba like as a puppy, and did they change much going into adulthood?

Sierra definitely had a lot of energy when she was a puppy. We used to take her out on our rollerblades and run her just to burn it. When she hit two years old she calmed down big time. She still craves attention and we still take her for runs, but she's more calm in the house.
