If you watched "DogTown that aired 9/05/08 what did you think about it? does anyone know where the remaining "bulldogs" went to? I know 22 of them went to Dog Town. I hope this changes some peoples minds about rehabilitating APBT's that have been used for fighting. Personally, I've always known that most of them could be rehabilitated. I can't tell you all just how happy it made me to see this being done where it could be seen in such a large scale and on TV.

It was a testament to the durability and adaptability of the breed, overcoming almost unbelievable obstacles...the Humane Society of the US (HSUS) and People for the Ethical Treatement of Animals (PETA) both dismissed the survivors out of hand and recommended putting all 44 dogs to death. Some reaction from groups supposedly devoted to 'animal welfare', huh? PETA I can see--nut cases all--but HSUS really surprised and infuriated me. Fortunately, the district judge in Virginia showed much more compassion and common sense and did NOT listen to these 'experts'. At any rate, all but three survived and are now in the custody of pittie groups across the country. In fact, the first ones have just been adopted out and are doing fantastically well.

As for Michael Vick...he is a man without a soul. Look into his eyes...nothing there...his eyes remind me of wet stones. Typical thug. He'll get his commupances. "Though the mills of God grind slowly, they grind exceeding small."
