Well summers comming to an end and we have to close the pool out back frown ( I really think Evgeni is gunna be a little upset, he gets mad if he misses just one day of swimming, since he was born in March of this year he's pretty much use to swimming everyday of his life so far bol), getting ready for the snowy winters here in Pittsburgh, it will be my first time playing in snow, mom thinks i'll like it since I love water so muchsmile anyone else taking their final swim's of the season?

We still have through October at our camper on the river so we will probably won't be done swimming quite yet. Shadow probably won't be able to go unless we carry him through the sand due to his hips but we'll work out something for him!

With the end of harvest quickly approaching, I was just thinking the same thing over the last couple days. We will likely have warm enough weather to swim through October but the river around here is only seasonal and is already gone. Even some of the lakes in the surrounding mountain areas are pretty much gigantic mud puddles due to the lack of rain over the last several years.
We are planning to attend another dock dogs party in October. The first one which was just a few weeks ago, was tons of fun so we are looking forward to the second. Cotton learned to actually jump. Before, she would run to the end, stop, check it out, then finally jump. It was pretty funny. But she is now having so much more fun. I think Abby liked the swimming part but she didn't want to jump off more than the ramp which is fine- for now wink.

I swim in the ocean up in Nova Scotia Canada. Although it is cold we can go in the water as long as we want. I usually wade in even in the middle of winter. My mom says no and tries to stop me because sometimes there are even chunks of ice floating by but I still like to get my belly wet.laugh out loudlaugh out loud
