I will be picking up my 8 week old puppy this coming Saturday. She is chocolate and came from a litter of 11. I am just so excited and cannot wait. Does anyone have some good tips to give me to get through this transition with our new puppy. Any good puppy treats I should have on hand while training? I will be using a crate to train. Thanks.cheer

My female chocolate lab, Greta, was 6 wks. old when I got her. I called a local trainer, Dick Russell, and asked him about obedience training. I put her in his class when she received all of her shots. She is 3 yrs. old now and is still a house dog. She is wonderful!!! Be patient with your dog and call a trainer. It makes a wonderful pet.
