Hi everyone. My name is Pebbles. I am a 2 year old Great Dane. I am looking for advice from anyone willing to give it. You see when I first found my new human family they lived on a military base and they told me I could only go outside on a leash. Well now that it is just me and my mom and my boxer brother we live in the country. I really want to be able to go out in the yard and run and play without having to be on a leash. There is a small fenced in area (probably 35 ft x 20) for me to play in right now but I really want to run and play in the yard while my mom is outside walking and doing stuff. But I get so excited when I am off a leash or out of a fence that I just run and run and run until I look back and I am not at home anymore. Can any of ya'll give me or my mom some advice on how to get me to stay in the yard when not on a leash. Any help is greatly appreciated. I can't wait to get out and play!way to go

I was 4 when we moved to the country, & I had always had a small backyard to play in & when we moved here, Mom, just followed me around the yard & told me "no" if I went to far & she did that until I knew my boundries. After a while I knew where I could go & stayed with Mom & Dad in the yard, MOST of the time. Hope this helps.
