Hello All,

I have a 3-pound rescue Yorkie who only has 2 teeth. And a 10-pound Maltese who looks at me like I have grown an extra head when I put a piece of chicken wing or pork rib in front of him.

They will both eat raw venison, but what I have currently has no bones. So I just bought some Bravo with ground meat, bones, and organs to see if they will eat that and get the benefit of the bones.

My little Yorkie can't eat Raw Meaty Bones, she gnaws on them, but can't eat the bones themselves. The Maltese won't even try. And if I give him a small enough piece for him to show some interest, he tries to eat it whole. I am worried that he will get choked.

Any advice? Thanks!

Have you tried soft bones? Like small fish bones or chicken breast with bones in?

You cannot feed "just raw beef" because you have to feed bones. Unless you grind them up, most beef bones are too large & hard for most dogs to consume.
You guys should visit the regular forum (not the group forum) because it gets a lot more action.
