Hello Everyone~

I just came from the LOreal Your Dog Is Worth It Too Day. I was watching the dock jumping and would love to know where in Jersey one can legally take their dog to dock jump. Has anyone attempted this?

Hi! I was volunteering at the Tri-State Weim Rescue booth at L'Oreal. Wish I had met you that day!
I just did a quick search on Dock Jumping in NJ. I believe there will be a group forming in the Northeast, but most of the jumpers were from California and Michigan.

I would THINK that any dock where dogs can run free would be a likely place to start this activity. Of course, find this will be tricky.

I belong to a dog board where one of their friend's had a Dock Jumping Dog. There must be an association for this. A thorough Google Search might bring it up. I'll try to find a reference for you.

I just found some info on the Dock Jumping hosts that were at L'Oreal. Here's their website:

They will be at the Fido Fest in Woodstown NJ (south jersey) this weekend. If you live close enough to attend, you can talk to a representative there and find out more about the sport and how to get started.
