I have 2 Mastiffs....Darwin 238# and Tyshan 150#. I just recently bought a Basset pup and would like some input on how to interact them.
The Mastiff's are gentle and like the pup and I have no jealousy issues, but I am overprotective and dont want pup squashed.
My thinking is to keep interactions short, one dog at a time supervised of course until pup gains some size.
What do you all think? Any suggestions welcome.

I think you have the right idea. We have two bullmastiffs and one boston terrier.

I would definitely make the introduction, a slow one. We always seem to learn the hard way, but at least we learnwink

Just because of their size, I would definitely never leave the pup unsupervised with them, ever.

Good luck! You have beautiful dogs!

cheerpartyhamster dance Update to the Mastiff/ to Basset introduction.
We have successfully introduced them and they LOVE each other. I still never leave them unsupervised, but the pup is now 25 lbs. and the Mastiff is careful where he steps. They share toys and are pretty good at doing toy 'trades' in the case of I want what you have.
But things are going very good. My biggest issue now is that the Basset sticks his entire muzzle into Darwin's mouth to clean any bits of food stuck in the jowels. YUK, but Darwin does have better breath. LOLconfused
