Hello -
I knew this would be a pretty quiet group because you just don't see german pinschers every day. We rescued Dallas from a shelter thinking he was a big min pin...turns out he is 19" at the shoulder and about 30 to 35 lbs. He's a big boy, has a different face and stature. I contacted german pinscher rescue, and they think he is GP too....but it's hard to tell from a picture. The one thing that is not very GP about Dallas is that he does bark to protect his home....and I guess most GPs don't bark much. His eyes look through you, and he is a sweetheart. I love him to pieces. Anyway, hello to all of you smile

Hello!! Good to see another GP owner (possibly) is actually talking on here! LOL

I am still new to the breed so I am sure i can't point one out from a picture, but from the size, he sounds like the right size!

We bought our little lovely from a kennel here in Germany and she is wonderful. Both her parents are multiple award winners here in Europe.

Always looking for a GP friend on here to share all the oddities of the breed. They have wonderful personalities!

thats strange. i've known GPs to bark when protecting the house. ours is an 11 year old retired show dog and she protects this house very well shes also a big barker! She's fully trained, but now shes got separation anxiety. She doesn't like cats as most GP's I know, but she does well with my 3 min pins lol.

she tends to like smaller dog's then big ones we have a lot of doberman friend's and she tends to not want to be bothered playing with them.
