I was wondering how many of us love or hate fireworks?
I myself don't like them at all! When they go off I run from window to window barking at them to go away. They hurt my ears! Plus I have to protect my family from those aweful things.
Ok now that you know how I feel - how does everyone else feel about fireworks?

 | | Barked: Fri Jul 11, '08 5:09pm PST | | | | | | I'm like you Tucker! When our neighbors set them off I run from window to window barking at the top of my lungs to tell them to go away! I mean really they might scare the baby in mommy's belly!!
However, on the 4th, I didn't seem to mind the sound, but neighbors didn't really set any off and there weren't any displays super close to our house.

| | Barked: Mon Nov 10, '08 6:47am PST | | | | | | i know about those things. dad set those off on the fourth. i was only five months old, and i was really scared. i kept hiding under the house, and when mom let me in, she had trouble finidng me. i was trying to hide behind the toilet, but i didnt fit. she tried to make me calm down, but the loud noise hurt my ears and scared me. she fussed at dad for it, and made him play with the quiet ones. the ones i really hate are firecrackers!!  | | | | |

I was wondering where everyone is going to see fireworks this year? I am going to the beach in New Jersey. I will be in the house the entire time since those fireworks annoy me and I bark at them. My family will be watching them on the beach though.
Ok now you know where I will be where will all of you be enjoying or tolerating fireworks this year?
Happy July 4th and safe travels to all labs and families! Staying home or traveling may every lab score something yummy from the grill! (I hope I do!)

I can take them or leave them...I got to go into DC with mom and we met dad and had a picnic. It was fun, but it was different for me. I understand now, it was something people do for fun...even though fireworks don't bother me, those big city ones were really loud and big. I looked at mom, like "Shouldn't we be trying to get out of here, quick", but when I realized we were going to stay an watch, I just tolerated it and layed down...I was more interested in watching the people. | | | | |

Mom doesnt know what to think anymore. i used to run and hide when fireworks were going off. but this past fourth of july, i scared mom nearly to death with how brave i was. i chased the bottle rockets around, picked up a stick used to light them and ran around the yard, and tried to chase a cherry bomb into the street. Mom got so scared she put me in the house and i cried because i wanted to be where the fun was. she didnt let me go back out, but they opened the window so i could see the pretty colors. | | | | |
