Homemade Doggie Biscuits:
All righty! This is one of my FAVORITE treats-

Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup bone meal
1/2 cup soy flour
1/2 crisp, crumbled bacon
1/2 cup bacon drippings
1/2 cup water
1 large egg, beaten
an oven (that works)
an ungreased cookie sheet
cookie cutter(s) (optional)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Then add other ingredients and mix well. Press together until it feels doughy. If it seems to sticky, add another 1/2 cup whole wheat flour and mix into dough well. When the dough feels right, roll into a ball. Put the ball onto a piece of wax paper, and use a rolling pin to flatten out the dough to a circle about 1 half inch thick. Use a small cookie cutter to shape the biscuits. If one is not available, shape with hands. Use different cookie cutters to make it more fun. Put the bones on an ungreased cookie sheet, and bake at 25 minutes for crunchy biscuits. If you furs out there like chewy bones, bake at 20 minutes.
