Why I love my Keeshond?

Now that I have some spare time I thought I'd start a new topic. So, tell me all the reasons you love your Keeshond. I am the proud friend of Kailey. I adopted her a year ago and I discover something new about her everyday. She is super intelligent, she just passed her Canine Good Citizen test and is training to become a therapy dog. She has now passed basic and advanced obedience and I'm going to spend a lot of time this summer teaching her new tricks. She is a wonderful companion. Kailey loves to snuggle and follows me like a shadow. She is very affectionate and loves to head-butt my legs when we go outdoors. She has a wonderful smile and is fiercely protective when strangers come around. Her favorite activity is going to the dog park and swimming. Last summer she wouldn't go near the water until the end of a 3 week stay at the lake. Now I can't keep her away from the water.
