Less than 48 hrs ago I joined dogster.com. There's not much I know (yet)...my little Jenny was the reason I joined (or so I 'thought'). As I was looking around, I saw the "Groups". Jenny is a Shetland Sheepdog...perfectly healthy and the delight of my life. We survived abuse to the degree that it took the police department to rescue Jenny & I. Jenny was a baby at the time.

However...years ago, I had 3 Collies...Sassy, Katie & Molly. They were sisters...My "Ladies". I had them for their entire lives...and they all left for the "Rainbow Bridge" within the same year. When Sassy left...the other two grieved themselves to death. Jump ahead a little bit...

I got married (to an abuser)...please, take a look at Jenny Jo Jaxx's diary...this will tell you what took place so I won't have to take up your time repeating it here.

I was NEVER allowed to talk about my "Ladies"...as I was told "THEY'RE JUST DOGS!" All the grief has been bottled up...until I found this group. When I saw that there were so many otthers just like me, that have lost their "Fur Angels"...I cried. The tears fell for almost four hours.

When I stopped crying, I was determined to say "THANK YOU", to whoever began this topic. It was like the weight of the world has fallen off me.

There's so much more to say...but it'd be easier on me if you chose to read Jenny's diary.

I am forever grateful to you for caring...but mostly...understanding this level of grief.
