	Ok so, mommy took me to the doctor yesterday to get my puppy shots and also asked the dr to look at my eye bc its been a little runny the past couple of days and my mommy has to keep cleaning it every day. The vet said it was fine bc he didn't see any "pus" coming out of it, but there is a grey like discharge, and the dr told her not to worry. However, my mommy is a worry wart and feels that maybe this isn't normal, so she would like any imput anyone has on this. maybe other friends have expierenced the same thing.

	This happened with me when I was a puppy, too. We are a breed that gets runny eyes and sometimes it requires a lot of attention to not get matted and yucky. Better to let her keep it clean and check it for yellow, green puss and clean it than have the groomers do it. My mommy cleans my eyes almost everyday and her trick is to be confident about my grooming and it calms me down.

	My mom had the same problem with me about a month ago. Mom called the vet and he said I probably picked up some pollen or something while outside and my eye didn't like it very much. Mom cleaned it twice a day with saline solution which is COLD! I didn't like it, but my eye felt and looked much better in a couple days and we didn't have to go to the vet! That was plus. He's a nice man but I don't like that place very much. By the way, I'm new here so.....HI!!

	Don't worry! I've worked at a vet office and have two yorkies! It is simply something common in yorkies!

	Yes, I also give my Mom fits with runny eyes at times. But she just keeps after me almost daily to keep it cleaned... I think its more of a bother to her than it is for me. Hugs!! Sissy

	Yorkies get runny eyes often because they are hairy dogs, so maybe she just has some hair irritating her eyes. I'm sure she'll be fine though.
