Ok so many have probably seen (or atleast I hope you have) the topic posted about a dog that is apparently being effected by someone else using an e-collar.

Do we all know how our collars work? This is serious. If people start believing that using one collar can effect a dog that is not wearing one that will be a huge problem.

Hi Medea! Welcome back....

Here is the link.....we all eventually gave up but this could be what some people need to learn from.

For the record this person has NO CLUE how e-collars work or how to use one.

I did some youtube research on the topic and I totally found out why the collar hasn't worked properly. ....

We didn't incorperate alchohol....lol I'm still reading through the forum but it doesn't seem like the collars effects on other dogs was the focus. I think for the most part the smarter ones have a prettygood idea of how it actually works what it does and does't do. I think there is a lot to that first inicial post that was miss understood and the topic totally branched out in all kinds of directions.

I think that lady should change her dogs name why is his name Taser??? Why would he be named after the root of his trauma???

Couldn't tell you. She truely believes that the other dogs wearing e-collars was affecting her dog. No matter how many times people explained it to her she still wouldn't believe it.

It's people who believe these things that are giving the collars a bad rap.

I think it's the concept in general not to mention it can't get away from the image you get just when you hear SHOCK collar... when I first heard it I got cartoon images of high volt shot and the dog jumping in the air and it's hair sticking up.

Sorry this is late, but yes the person has no clue. That or she has some sort of superdog that can in-contact with nuclear waste and has weird abilities.

I think just the confusion with the different waves showed the lack of knowledge on the subject.
