My Shiba puppy is barking a lot. I have an older Shiba who rarely barks which is pretty typical for this breed. The puppy barks at everyone walking down the street and some noises. It is starting to get out of control. Any advice?

Yes. When you go somewhere bring along something that your puppy likes and can draw their attention...like a squeaky toy. When someone is approaching them start squeaking away and get them distracted, so that they forget that someone is coming close.

Really it's just about associating them with good things. They will get the idea that good things happen to them when they see people.
