Quinn and rose is a morning show in pa. can be heard on xmradio channell 158 and other affiliates around, thier website is warroom.com they have this deal where if your in a restaurant and a servicemember is having a meal or just getting coffee,, you pick up the tab!!i've done it on a few occasions and let me tell you it feels good!so post here if you ever done that fur our military members!way to go

hey, that is a nice idea....we'd do it, but we are still active duty and are trying to support ourselves...hehehehe. People are realllly nice though when they see Daddy in uniform, people are always stopping to tell him thanks. When mommy went to pick him up from the airport during his 2 week break from Iraq(this was in the summer) we had people giving us money and he said that people were doing like Roscoe's Dad does for him during his layover's along the way. I can speak on Dad's behalf and say that it is really nice to have people show their support for all that he does and we/he do appreciate it.

Someone did this for mommy and daddy when daddy took mommy out for her birthday and then went out for some drinks. A nice gentleman and his wife picked up their tab. Mommy and daddy really appreciated their generosity.

No one has ever done this for Dad. Though he'd probably be really surprised and probably moved to tears by it. lol
But he did get a Thank you once. It really made his day.

And Mom & Dad get discounts at certain stores. Which is nice.
