I was just wondering if anyone does obedience, agility or rally with their shar peis? My Dreamer will be 5 in May and we have been showing for the last year. My other shar pei {no longer with me} earned her obedience C.D. title. Shar pei's do really well in these sports and it would be nice to talk to someone who has some interest in competitive sports. We earned our Novice Standard agility title in March. Anyone wants to chat let me know.

While I haven't seen a lot of the breed in the performance events I did train for them with Rayne. She took to be a bit more stubborn than some others that I've seen, though yes the breed does very well. I work with other dogs in agility now, but still would love to get my girls out there. I too am interested to see some interest from others in the breed.

I am very interested in getting my peis involved in agility, etc, but am worried how peis do off leash in general. How would I get started, and how old do upus need to be to start training.
