Boy did we have storms here last night! Some thunder was so loud is shook the house. Sassy was not impressed! She sure hates storms and they were one after the other last night.
Going up to VA today to pick up five dogs that we are taking into rescue. Luckily we have foster homes for them all so they won't be staying with me. On little girl is brindle colored and adorable! She has bladder stones and the family can't afford to pay for surgery so they are giving her up. The weird thing about her is that the vet did not do a urinalysis so we don't know what type of stones they actually are so she might not even need surgery. There is a med that breaks up one type and it works great. Two of the others are nine months old and have been being left in the backyard because she "doesn't know how to train them to be in the house". Ugh! Then we have a ten year old that might have cancer on his back so we'll have to get that checked. The last one is actually a cute healthy two year old so I'm sure he will get adopted fast.
Other than rescue stuff I am just trying like crazy to keep up with things around the house. That list never seems to end!
