What do your best Elkhound days consist of?

Ours are going out to the horse farm, and walking off-leash in the 40+ acres of forest and meadow here in Northern Ohio.

We also have wonderful times walking in the town square. Scouty loves to look at things, and wag her tail and beckon people to touch her wherever we go.

We also like to lie down together, and mommy rubs her belly and her ears and between the pads of her feet.

What are your best Elkhound days like?

Ursula loves to play in the snow which we get a lot of in Colorado. She'll lay on top of a big mound of snow with her back legs spread out as if she's cooling her belly. She also loves to snowplow with her nose, making tunnels.

If not that, then she loves laying on the couch with us getting her belly rubbed, or her nose licked by our other small dog, Honey.

Oh, she loves to cuddle.

My best days are spent napping after a vigorous romp in the yard with Zoe Abigail and our human sister's Basenji pup named Kamau. That happens about three times a day. Of course a walk early in the morning or late afternoon with mommy and then late evenings Zoe and I just want to hang out and watch TV with mommy on the couch. Ahhhhhh a dogs lifedancing

i like to go runningwith my pals remus, bonny and lucy we dont get snow much but when it does i love it wasn't sure what it was at 1st i love my ownwer stroking my ears and belly and my fave is digging

Playing in the snow (or in the backyard if it isn't bad), getting treats from the barkery, snuggling with Mom and Dad in bed, climbing in the recliner with Grandma, getting things I shouldn't have from Grandpa when he cooks, going to the dog park...
