Can anyone tell me how long it takes to bond with your Shiffon(mom purebred Brussels Griffon, dad purebred Shihtzu)? I was just curious. I've only had my 10 week old Shiffon, JouJou,for a week, but I can't help to compare him to my 6 month old Shih-tzu, Myko. Myko was (and is) so attached to me right from the beginning and was very friendly with everyone. Although it was just me and him at the time, which might have helped him to bond to me quicker without another dog around, I just wondered if it's typical for Shiffons to be more reserved, which JuJu is. If it helps to know, he is definitely more brussels than shih-tzu. I read alot about brussels being lap dogs and bonding to their owners, and JouJou doesn't really like to be held, unless we're around strangers or in other unfamiliar territory to him. Any advice?
