For those of you who live around where I live(Portland) and know the Oregon Humane Society, the doggie dash is coming up! If you haven't been there before then I highly reccomend that you go. The money all goes to the Oregon Humane Society and it's a really fun day of either running or walking two miles with your dog. There's a whole bunch of dogs and fun activities there, and you also get a T-shirt! This will be the third year I'm going and I'm training with Daisy now because I want to do the running one. (If I can get Daisy to go faster than a walklaugh out loud ) Anyway it's really fun and you can even form doggie dash teams. There's more information at the OHS website:

There are several pre doggy dash events that just by attending you get a $5. discount off the event fee, and learn how your efforts help the animals at OHS.
Locations:
Oregon Humane Soc. March 25th 5-7 pm. (they are serving beer)
Urban Wineworks March 26th 6-8 pm.(they are offering wine I would guess)
Lucky Lab Brew Pub on Hawthorne April 3rd 5-7pm.
Lucky Lab Public House at Multnomah Village April 6th 1:30-4:30.
