I was wondering if anyone else has a min pin who struggles with company. Bella ,who will be 2 this May, will freak out and bark when someone comes in the house but then settles down after 5-15min later. It's pretty annoying and really one of her only flaws well other than the new one of going outside to go #1 and then going back out again to go #2 rather than both at once. I can't blame her since we moved to Alaska last May lol. I think I would be cold too and need to come in lol. Any ideas about either would be great.snoopy

My male Tike will do the same bark at new people while standing by me until i pick him up, as if to say my mama don't talk to her.
Both my min pins have acidents in the house in the winter if you sew there is a great patern that my dogs loves and it keeps them toasty warm, now if they would only wear boots somedays i have to go out to get them, their feet gets go cold.

I've heard that minipins are sometimes easily agitated...I guess that includes your pin too. Besides, i find it cute...smile

well it's exactly the same with mine... everytime someone visits me or even if it's just the postman ringing, she will start barking and won't stop for 10 minutes or so. it can really get a bit annoying and I sometimes feel quite awkward not being able to calm her. but that's what it is. i guess it really is the min pin's temperament and the fact that they're are easily agitated.
