	I found this on Craigslist and Shirley (the lady who posted) said it was ok to post here! So if you belong to other Dogster groups or MySpace, etc. feel free to pass this info on!!! You don't want to miss this. EVENT: Corpus Christi Doggie Social (doggie walk) PLACE: Cole Park - Meet up across from the skate rink in the grassy area (just look for other dog's and their owners) DATE: Thursday, February 21, 2008 TIME: 6:30pm We are going to have our very first Corpus Christi Doggie Social. It's time to get our dog's off of the couch now that winter is over, and go for a walk. What better way to do this than with other folks who have this same interest?! This is a great way for us to get in our daily walk, and to socialize with our dog's. Please remember to bring a poop-scoop bag, and water for your dog. 	Well THAT was a bust. We went. Saw some people with dogs but....nothing like a "group" or anything. Just like regular people scattered here and there. Poopcakes.

	What time did you show up? There were four of us waiting til 6.45...?? I initially didnt see anyone in the grassy area where Shirley said they would be and about 10 minutes later I found them. Instead they waited on the sidewalk by the parking lot in front of the skate park. I'm so sorry you missed it...I wondered where the Dane was! I even asked them where you were! Apparently this will be a weekly thing at 6.30 on Thursdays. I gave them my email and number to contact about anything else. Do you want me to post on here and let you know if even I'll be there for sure next week? I feel terrible.

	Yeah we were running a little behind but got there about 6:45-ish. We parked between the skate park and kid's place, and then walked around it several times looking for everyone. We eventually made our way out onto the pier and then headed home. Well, at least I know the when and where if it's going to be a regular thing! Thanks for looking for us!

	We missed it! We would have loved to go...If someone could post a group msg along with a threat it would be great. I also saw on the news the city is looking into an off leash doggie park!
