This is a very hard decision for my mom. J.D. my kittie brother has been a hard cat to have. He is very anti-social w/humans but really is a good cat to have around. Unforutnately, as he's proven a lot lately, he's not good with other cats. We're getting ready to move and my mommy is making the heart wrenching decision to try and adopt him out. She can't put my other kittie siblings through this and one is living in comfort until she passes on - her time is approaching and the vet has advised as long as she's not in pain, to let her go comfortably until we want to make that final decision. He is not fixed or declawed. When we were able to financially, we were advised he was too old. He can be a love when the mood strikes. Sometimes his back breaks out when fleas hit bad. Mommy just do not want to go through giving him up and run the risk of him being put to sleep. We do love him and he does deserve a home and someone who is willing to give his grumpy butt love. We just can't do it with my older kitties siblings anymore.

Any ideas???

We have also been thinking about adopting out my kittie sister Lil' One also. She needs to be fixed also, can't catch her between heats and I'm told they can't do that when she is in heat. She can get an attitude but when she wants to be, she's also a total love bug and I'm sure if she was fixed, she would calm down alot. She was a feral cat that came into our lives. She has calmed down alot since then, her attitude usually hits when she's about to go into heat.

Any ideas for her?

Mommy says she does not want to give up her cats, they are like her children. But she needs to think of best interests for everyone - especially me and my siblings.
