I hate getting my paws wet!

Dave and Samson hate to get their paws wet. Dave use to be worse but when I watch Samson from the window while he's playing in the backyard, he will stay on the sidewalk as much as possible. Especially during all this wet weather.

Do any of your beagle or basset friends have a similar quirk?

big grin All three of my bassets hate rain, and really act like it is the end of the world when they go out in it. My two older hounds hate the snow, but my younger guy Nestor will play in it and have fun until it starts to melt and gets slushy, then he avoids it.
