I was just wondering if there were any other sled dogs out there. We saved Kit from a negligent family, but prior to, she was a sled dog. We have only had her for two months, and I was wondering if there was anyone else out there who could shed some light on her background of racing. If not, I would just like to talk about husky behavior. It is my first time parenting a husky, and I have found they are very different from all other dogs that I have had. We have read up on huskies, but it is always better getting information from parents of other huskies! She is happy and we are more than ecstatic to have her as a part of our growing family but we would just like to know a little more about her former background!

Thank you all for listening, and in advance your help!

My pack of six are all sled dogs. We do recreational dogsledding and some small races. What kind of info were you looking for?

i understand how you feel i also rescued my malamute/husky from a negligent family. in my experience they just love to be active. huskies are very energetic and need constant attention. mine needs to go for long walks usually as much as 3 times a day. they are very high maintenance but if you take care of them they take care of you. ive never had more loving dogs than huskies. and the best part is they can talk haha only if they are trained to of course.
