the article on service dogs was well written. when I figure out how, I'll post it here for your perusal.

I just got back from a 2 week visit to Saskatoon. I was very pleased to see a "service dogs welcome" sign on each of the taxis. we were treated well. when we visited my Mother in the hospital after her surgery, the nurse put my Mom's hand where Iris could smell and kiss it. Iris was vocal about her concern for my Mom.
however at one mall, I had problems. I needed a pedicure, but the nail shop wouldn't provide the service with my dog around. I refused to leave until I could make a complaint to security. the security officer agreed and a complaint was made to the mall management. the mal management called me at my hotel, and backed the propietor. I let her know this was a violation of law. I did not take it farther, as I felt I had more important issues with my Mother's frail health.
my toenails are longer, but I know I can get a pedicure in Creston.
