URGENT! I need a foster home for 4-6 months!

This is Cinder's mom, please forward this to anyone and everyone possible. We have been residents of Ohio for the past few years and moved back to Nebraska about 3 months ago because of a severe domestic violence situation. I am in a shelter and my furbabies can not be with me. I am no longer on any Yahoo Nebraska boards and would be so greatful if someone would pass this on. We have been gone off of Dogster for over 2 years because of the situation we were in.

My parents have been caring for them until I can get on my feet. Last night, my dad called me and told me he had moved out (this had been coming for some time) and that I needed to find somewhere for Cinder to go ASAP because my mother is threatening to euthanize her.

Cinder will be 10 years old on June 1st and is a black Lab. She is a sweetheart. She adores cats and in all the years I've fostered and rescued cats, she has been a surgogate momma to them. She gets along good with other dogs and loves to play, having the energy and youthfulness of a dog much younger. She doesn't have any health issues, requires no medications. She is housebroke and can be left alone for over 12 hours if need be.

I am looking for a kind soul to foster her for 4-6 months until I have the money to move out of this shelter into my own place. I can pay for food and supplies. If I could afford to board her in a doggy hotel I would.

I have no children and my pets are my life. My mother adores my cats and would like to keep them, so I know they are safe. But, she is not a dog person and I know she is serious.
