Hey Everyone. This is a little story I wrote:
Please tell me if you guys like it.

Once, a little girl named Alice was walking to school. Her arms ached. Her lips were parched. Her stomach growled. Alice had been walking for 2 miles. Well, she did this everyday because she didn't have any parents so therefore, no car. School was 3 miles away for Alice, one more mile to go. Alice was just about to stop walking and rest for a minute when she heard a bird. The bird wasn't like any other bird. It's call was so loud it pierced through the foggy sky and called to Alice: "Food. Water." Alice looked up at the birds striking green eyes. "Food. Water." it called to her again. Alice scratched her ears. It was impossible for a bird to talk. "Food. Water. Come this way. Now." the bird said stiffly. "How crazy I must be to listen to this bird." Alice said but she was already following the bird as it hovered over the ground. About five minutes later, the bird led Alice into a meadow and immediately flew off. There was no food. There was no water. Not only was Alice hungry or thirsty, she was lost. "Thanks a lot calling bird." Alice muttered under her breath.

Sorry for leaving a cliffhanger but this is just a short story that I am thinking about publishing.
