 | | | | Ok, so Ni-Ni is going to post this in every one of our groups, and we both have to appologize 'cause I know you're like us and belong to several, so if you get this more than once, you can delete all but one of them now.

Now, first off HOWDY to all of the new dogs and their people, trust me we all ahve a good time and we're all REALLY super nice people so I know you'll enjoy yourselves!
Secondly, to everyone that's been ill, I'm so sorry to ehar about everyone's infirmites. It's rough being a sick beebe, isn't it? I hope all of you feel better REAL soon! I know your parents, families and friends are worried about you! **BIG DOG HUG**

Update on Grampy:
As most of you know Grampie had quad by-pass in May and "we" spent most of May and June in the hospital. Ni & Pop were worn out, and we were worried 'cause we knew somthing sad was gonig on. Grampie is doing GREAT (he'll be 80 on the 27th of Dec!) , but as Ni said, mentally he has his days.

Now to explain our absence and to ask for your help.
Well, you've seen and heard Ni-Ni whne and moan about needing/wanting another job, right? Well, becareful what you wish for! She's working for Aunt Kate now (that would be our vet) and she's very unsure/unhappy.
What is Ni-Ni looking for? 8AM-5PM Monday thru Friday.....that's it! And she's not asking anything outrageous for her salary, heck, it's MUCH less than most of the advertised positions she's seen! Keep your paws crossed, I want my Ni-Ni back!
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Now to ask for your help.
You see, Grammie and Pop and everyone told Ni-Ni that she couldn't bring home every stray that came thru the doors, and it's not like she didn't know that anyhow (*slaps forhead*) DUH!
Well, Aunt Kate found this GREAT dog on the 13th, and sadly nobody has been looking for him They've been calling him "Buddy", but Ni wants to call him "Hero", 'cuase he's something special. They've contacted EVERY newspaper in the area, ALL of the shelters and vet and even asked every client that's been in.....and so far, nobody ahs missed him . Aunt Kate says that Buddy is about 10 months old and is aBernese Mt. dog mix. He has the shrot hair of......well, something else, but the face is dead on, my cousin Gunner is a BMD so I know what they look like. He has been trained by someone 'cause he knows commands and how to walk on a leash. He's not been "snipped" yet, but when the manditory 10 days are up, then Aunt Kate will take care of him. He's sweet, but a bit wild 'cause they don't get to keep him out of his kennel a lot. He LOVES cats (there are 2 in the clinic and he plays with them all the time!) and gets along REALLY well with other dogs. There has been some mild intrest in him from a couple of clients, but they leave their dogs outside and chained all the time and we don't want to see that happen to Buddy!
So, can anyone take Buddy?
AND, we also have a special needs dog named Molly tht is BEYOND a sweetie. Her owner is a client who can't car for her & wants US to take her, but Pop says that we don't ahve the money for a FOURTH dog, and a special needs dog at that. What's wrong with her? The long & short of it is she has a piece of cartlidge that has broken off and is in her spial column cutting off the signals to her legs. She has sensation and feeling, and with daily therapy (massage and a cart) then she probably would walk again within 4 months! The girl is young and works long (12 hour) shifts and doesn't have the time, plus she's financially strapped and can't pay for a cart or anything. Ni-Ni spoke too soon when she said we'd take Molly and now she has to find her a home by FRIDAY!!!!!
Sooooo......PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE can anyone take Buddy or Molly? Do you know of someone? PLEASE?!?!?????? | | | | |
