I am new here. I am a pet groomer and I own 2 papillons. Daisy is 2 and Boston is almost 9 months.

Hi! I am not new to Doster but Skippy is a new puppy! My first Pappillon. Since you are a groomer.(I'm sorry if you don't like work related questions. I get it all the time. I am a Vet Tech) Do you know any good grooming products to help keep comb through after a bath!? I assume I need a better conditioner or some kind of conditioning spray.I just bathed my little guy and his hair was impossible to comb. I don't want to hurt him so he won't like being groomed.

Sorry havent been on here in a while. For your question I always brush and comb first and make sure there are no mats. http://www.arcatapet.com/item.cfm?cat=8466 This is my favorite tool to get mats out. When there are no mats then bath. I usually blow dry and brush while I do this. If you dont have a force air dryer though I dont recomend drying as human dryers are hard on doggies skin. I use Tea tree oil and aloe and creme rinse from earth bath. Amazing stuff!! When you are dry run comb threw it should not be a problem. If it is there must be a tangle so use the dematting tool. Your comb should be a medium tooth as this works best. Sorry I answered so late. Hope I helped still. red faceway to go O and also regular brushing and combing in between baths does wonders to prevent any tangles. I brush mine at least every other day.
