Hey everyone!
I need some help. My mom is having a hard decision to make.
Right now she is feeding me ProPlan Giant Breed puppy food. And she is thinking about buying me Nutro large breed puppy food. The cost is the same, but mom wants to know what are the good things of Nutro. I'm excited about eating something different. I think it sounds like fun, but my mom is just not sure what to do. So, if anyone can help her (and me) out, it would be great!
Thank you very much

I strongly suggest Neutro Lamb and Rice Adult formula. The GREAT thing about it is that there are no corn-fillers or by-products. Lamb and rice is great for a dogs' coat and reduces health risks. Also, Neutro has 23% protein so it is perfect for a danes' nutritional needs, they are supposed to eat less than 24%

Look at the ingredients of other dog foods and see how much by-product is in there; it's like comparing pop tarts to oatmeal, but it may also depend on your dogs metabolism. If your dog is getting overweight definately switch to Neutro. If your dog has a high metabolism and you have trouble keeping their weight up, a cheaper dog food is still unhealthy but MAY put some pounds on; however, there are still healthier alternatives to put pounds on an under-weight.

i'm sure mom has decided by now (LOL, that was in 2007!) but for new moms - please choose a food without corn! danes really don't need all that much grain in their food. many chronic allergies and other problems have been linked to corn filler in dog foods. yikes! woof.
