Sorry for the duplicate post. Libby escaped from our house in Bend 12/7 with about a 2 hour lead. Please keep an eye out for her--she's fast and has great endurance so she could be anywhere now. She's very shy and would probably run if approached. Please call 541-325-2842 if seen. Thanks everybody.

No, we haven't. She was seen Monday on the east side of Pilot Butte in Bend. That's encouraging because she hadn't gone far and had survived very cold nights. We're still horribly worried, of course, and spending all our free time pounding the pavement.

Thanks, she needs all the help we can get. We think she was seen again in the Sears parking lot yesterday. Again, running from people trying to talk to her.

Another update: we brought in a dog tracking team (we have completely crossed the crazy-line at this point). They were able to determine that she was picked up by a car at a neighborhood park. It wasn't animal control. And no calls, despite all our ads and fliers and phone numbers on her collar. We're sick with worry--what decent person would take a lost dog and not try to find the owners? We hesitate to call her "stolen" but it's looking that way.

Stolen?eek That is just wrong. I hope that your baby finds her way home. Remember the story of the Incredible Journey?

Libby is home! We found her today, veeerry skinny and tired but otherwise ok. Thanks for the positive thoughts everybody. We have changed our front door lock so she can't let herself out again. It was all the fliers that did the trick. cloud 9cloud 9cloud 9cloud 9cloud 9snoopysnoopysnoopycheer
