	What kind of Dapples are you? I am a Smooth Miniature Black and Tan Dapple and my brother , Monty, is a Long Haired Miniature Red Dapple...I am a show dog and Monty will show once he comes into himself! (my Human has yet to make Monty his own Dogster account...so we will share mine for now) So What kind of dapples are you? Do you Show? What are your names? 	I'm a smooth, miniature black and tan, "double dapple" beauty. I can not show as I have a couple of the visible side effects of being a double dapple, namely an underbite. My mama says it makes me that much more beautiful but my daddy calls me a dorkfish. What's a dorkfish? Mama says to pay him no attention, he just wishes he was as pretty as I am.

	Hi, I'm Josh and I am a standard black and tan dapple. I am not a show dog. I am a therapy dog though I have not been visiting much lately. I have a brother Auggie and he is a mini chocolate and tan dapple. Mommy hasn't made him his own page yet.

	I am Molly. Somebody said I am a piebald dapple. Momma is not sure what that is. I am a rescue but do have papers, but momma doesn't show us dogs. She said we are just pets. I know I love to snuggle all the time. Molly

	Hi everyone, mom isn't sure what my dapple is called, she thinks I'm cute just the same but if any pup has an idea what my colors are called mom would love to know.

	Maggie, my mommy looked at your page and she said that you are a red dapple just like me, and my daughter Pippin. We are both red dapples, you see in dachshunds red covers any color from a reddish tan color to dark mahagony like my daughter Pippin. When you have the dark spots on your lovely red fur that is dappling so you are a red dapple. Your markings are very unique and pretty. Mine were little spots on me almost like the black spots on a dalmation but as I grew older my spots faded into more of a black overlay but my mommy knows I am a dapple and carry the dapple gene. My daughter Pippin had spots on her when she was born too but as she grew up they kind of stretched out and now look more like stripes. But again we know she is a dapple and that she carries the dapple gene. Since my mommy raises baby dachshunds she has to make sure when the babies are born that the dapples are recorded as dapples because as in my case many red dapples lose their dappling as they grow up and she has to make sure never to breed a dapple to a dapple because bad things can happen to the babies if that happens. Anyways, you are a very pretty red dapple girl and we hope we can be friends.

	You think? I'm mostly lighter tan, I have a red stripe down the middle of my back. Then there are the brown/black patches and flecks of white, I even have a lightening bolt on the back of my neck, i should start telling people I"m harry potter's long lost twin sister-pup... or something.. hmmm maybe that doesn't work

	I'm a black and tan silver dapple tweenie and i'm not a show dog but I have had people ask my owner if she was going to show me,but I am training to be a rally dog.
