 | |  | | Been giving my Beagle Beneful since we brought him home last Spring. Things going fine or so I thought. He's got this 'bottom' issue (anal sacs get full and need to be expressed every other month). No thanx to the vet, I have now researched that it could be diet related. Found out that Beneful is more like junk food but so is the other stuff I used to feed him Eukanuba. Also, was told from breeder that his parents were no more than 13 lbs yet he is a good 20+. He was supposidly a smaller bred 'pocket beagle' but I'm not sure since he's grown so much. He could stand to lose a few but not 10+ which would supposidly put him at his parents weight. Check out his pix. Is he considered fat? So now what? Although he eats just about anything, I do limit the human food to a minimal and we only buy healthy treats and give them sparingly. I also wanna be sure I switch him to something tasty for I'll likely switch our other dogs over as well so they can all be on the same healthier food. Any suggestions/tips?? |  |  | |  |
